Frank, Heidi and Harry Reid
Nevada Democrat Senator Harry Reid is up for re-election. In his bid to save his seat, he is running a series of touchy-feely ads talking about his tough upbringing and his life long desire to support and protect the everyday person here in Las Vegas.
In the ads, he tells about when the mob “took over” Las Vegas, that he was one of their targets. According to Harry, he was such a threat to them that they tried to take him out with a car bomb! A wire that ran from the distributor cap to the gas tank placed on the family station wagon.
He is also fighting mad that popular radio talk show host Heidi Harris, a life long Las Vegan, doesn’t remember it. Neither do a whole lot of other people who lived here during the time. How can someone who lived here her entire life, forget that such an important man as Harry Reid, may have been killed by the mob?? How disrespectful can a person be to such a figurehead!!
So Heidi went straight to a known source for anything Vegas mob related. The one man who would have either known about any mob hit on Harry or would have bee the one assigned to do the hit; Frank Cullotta. Frank lays it on the line why there was no hit on Harry and if there were, how it would have happened.
